A contemplative tradition that works through the body rather than around it. Some of it concerns sexuality. A great deal of it does not.

Tantra began as ritual and meditative practice in South Asia and reached the West in several forms, from lineage-based classical work to contemporary neo-tantra. Breath, attention and the body are the material in all of them.
Suits people willing to work slowly and to be a beginner. Less useful if you want technique alone, results on a deadline, or treatment for a diagnosed condition. For that, look at Psychotherapy and Counselling.
Most sessions run sixty to ninety minutes, alone or as a couple. Expect breath, meditation and guided attention rather than instruction to perform. Whether touch is involved at all varies by practitioner, and belongs in the conversation before you book.
